Background: Top of Waikiki (TOW) was Hawaii’s only revolving restaurant, opened in 1965 and sadly forced to close in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This iconic restaurant served Hawaii Regional Steak & Seafood, along with creative craft cocktails, and boasted panoramic, ever-changing views of Waikiki and the Honolulu city lights.

Vibe created and managed TOW’s social media presence, including daily organic content published to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, as well as social media advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

Strategy: TOW created a Kamaaina Promotion – a discount for local Hawaii residents – and wanted to drive traffic to their website targeting the local demographic who enjoy dining out at restaurants. Ad creative included engaging food photography with copy points geared towards locals and discounts.

Results: Ads received an average of 67 clicks per month at an average of $0.22 CPC (cost per click)
